How fast is your boat?

Post by Afflicted » Fri Jan 17, 2014 2:16 pm

I'm only ever around big heavy bowfishing airboats. So most aren't speed demons at all. What speeds y'all get outa them little hopped up Florida boats. I got an 18x8 3/16 bottom everything else is 1/8 565hp. It does like 49 or 50 wide open

How do the light, huge hp boats not go like 100mph?? Or do they? I'm just bored an curious

I seen ole swampdragster put a whoopin on a few with his barge. One day, saw him do it with a loaded boat and his bimini top up. kind of shamed that little hopped up race boat.

I run a 14' alumitec get about 42 out of it with a good tail wind, lol, but we sure caught some redfish with it.

Not the fastest boat in Florida I reckon, but check it out anyways

I'm not sure exactly how my boat will run flat out, but I do know that P2 is convinced it's the fastest Airboat in the whole dang world!
