I was born and raised in lake worth fl. Been a air boater my whole life mostly in so.fl. Retired and moved to so.alabama. We'll it is going to snow tonight and tomorrow and I am going to ride my airboat it will be the first time in snow any words of wisdom!!!!!!!! Thanks, Doug

That's awesome !!!!!! I have a lease in Vidalia and was told by family on the farm they are expecting to up to 2 solid inches !! Aint had snow in camp for 10 years.. The wife and I are talkin about packin up tonight and headed up just to take photos of all the tree stands in the snow.. Might not see it again for a long while.. LOL.. Take pics !!! We all wanna see !!!!!!!!! Dress warm and have a blast !!!!!!!!!

When you start to slide sideways, make sure there isn't anything hard in the way, like a tree, sometimes they just keep sliding, and allow lots of room when you need to stop. Of course if only a inch or so, you will be riding on slippery ground, rather then snow, won't be so bad then. Bud

Hay Kenny , I now can say I've rode my airboat in snow and ice!! Man it was cold in the low 20s high teens,but had a lot of fun . Did you bring your boat? If not come over if you got time and take mine for a ride !!!! I have pic will post when I figure this posting thing . Doug

Skip, I have been to Alaska two times to go fishing I did not see any air boats if I did I would have stop a talked to them we are planing to go back not this year but the next. I would like to see your boat in person if ok. I see why you have heated cabs.but I would do it again if it snows. Us old rednecks like to have fun any way we can. Doug

. Pipedog it freezes to the ground when you stop have to gas it to get it moving . I let it set over night and had to work the rudder hard to get moving.glad I live in the south. Did you get your boat done?
