Ride the Brazos with SHO-NUF

Post by Brotherbob » Sun Apr 13, 2014 6:22 pm

I know I enjoy watching videos of you guys running in your home water so I decided to film a small stretch of the Brazos in Texas for you to see the good ole ' rock hoppers in Texas!

Enjoy

Loved it.
How are you mounting your camera?
Do some more of different parts of the Brazos please....

I lost my photographer this year, she found herself a boyfriend.
Here is a link to a video that she took while we were running one of the small creeks here in eastern Nebraska. We do not have the rocks like you do just a lot of sand.

I use this mount setup- http://www.clevertraining.com/p-9205-jv ... 7AodUUAAiQ

We will do more as we learn more about HD quality and transfer time......I can view and operate my camera via Iphone but I'm still learning.

Cool vid.

Wish I knew more about editing in I movie , these are really BIG videos and my laptop has a hard time with them. I use my Wife's Mac and it can chew through them but I dont know much about the editing portion with the Mac.

I have more video with the camera mounted on the nose of the boat to edit......

Thanks and post more videos of home water in Ga and Ne that looks like fun!

Rocks- Yeah 1/2" poly down here is a must have. We plan on doing a poly job every few years but do it in at least two pieces so the back half can be redone with out tearing down the whole boat. I have torn poly when I had 3/8 but not 1/2" we just patch it and drive on..
Our boats are stiff and rugged mine has 13 tee bars in the floor and a 5/16" bow plate!

The band is the Bleaker Street Cowboys for the first two songs....

I'll get some more vids soon as we are about to take a bunch of soldiers for a ride in a few weeks!

We have some pretty boats down here too but ya'll ride some mighty fine light fast ass boat in Florida! I want to come ride with ya'll sometime and show you my bulldozer of a boat! LOL!

Here`s a look from "the other side of the river"

" It`s all fun and games till somebody gets an eye put out " :banghead:

Ole Brotherbob quit school in the third grade....cuz they had recess.....and he don`t play :dontknow:

Going down his hill ain`t all that hard, kinda like a pin ball...even I can do it ( gravity and adrenaline will get you down) but "Run the Hill" has a significant meaning when it`s time to load up.
