Postby lgower » Wed May 14, 2014 7:59 pm

Heading over sat to meet up with rusty aka Buttraxx looking forward to a day of ridding and not sitting. this will be my first time in the area and am looking forward to new adventures. He promises we will ride and not just sit. seems like a lot of guys just wanna hang out and listen to their music lately and not use the boat for what its made for to RIDE. hope to meet some new folks and see some new sights see yall Saturday.... :bounce:

lol! I hear ya. Seems like The normal ride-to-sit ratio is like a multiple of 10........ride for 15min, sit for 1.5 hrs, or ride for 30 min, sit for 3 hrs.
I hope yall have a good time, thats an area i hope to ride one day as well.

Talked to Rusty and figured we'd head south. But things can always change! I do know one thing we gonna burn some fuel and do some sliding. Really it don't matter to me what way we go Its gonna be a beautiful day no matter if we head north or south!!! :thumbleft: :old_glory: :rebel: :florida:

There will be water.... Maybe a dry bump here and there. Way better than heading across lake with the breeze....

Was there today in my flats boat, water really low all through lake, guess if you know where to go it will be ok. Right out of ramp area to north it is muddy. Good luck guess we should have taken the airboat but has been a while since we were there, thought there would be more water with some of the rain we had. Oh well good luck and blow them away.

I'm in. I don't care if we go south or north. But I doubt there is any water at all in any trails south. North might be better for the ones comin that are first timers in our area.

Yeah it was windy today that's for sure, felt nice and cool though. And yeah, it was dry down south we started and after the thick black mud was a sandy beach trail so
We turned around. You were right it was dry as a gourd there was no runoff the grass looks like it drank a bunch of it nice and green. Nice trip up north though thanks to the ones who brought the food that was nice.
