Airboat Crash Just North Of Cabbage.

Postby Cyraxx0120 » Wed May 28, 2014 4:01 pm

I just heard about an airboat crash that happened around 2pm today about 1 mile north of the lone cabbage. Has anyone heard anything about injuries or who might be involved? It sounds like someone was airlifted.

I watched my bird, the Life Flight helicopter, launch from MLB around 2:30 today, north, north west bound.
It overflew MLB to the south, around 3:15 enroute to Holmes Regional. Then I heard it return around 4:00.
As a mechanic, I love to see it fly. I always have a following thought train about WHY it is flying.
Seldom any good reason. I hope these boys are ok.

Here's the latest I found: http://www.clickorlando.com/news/1-airlifted-after-airboat-crashes-flips-over-in-brevard-county/26214458

Sounds like he lost it in a curve, hit the bank, and threw both riders out. One hit the water & one hit the bank.

Hope it ain't too premature to be optimistic, but it sounds like it could've been a lot worse. Anytime I see the back of a boat messed up like that, I'm just hoping for single boat deal.

Rick
