Hey guys. looking to get another boat in the near future. looking for a 3-4 seat boat. No fiberglass. primarily looking for a hamant (loved my last one). i am open to other aluminum boat manufactures as well. really looking for a 0-360(200hp) or a 540 boat. Ive posted in the wanted section without much luck. money depends on the boat. present me a boat, and if i am interested, i will make a reasonable offer.

why in the world would you want to stay away from the gso 480? IMO they are one of the best aviation motors available..

i have just heard more bad that good. i don't want this thread to turn into an argument over whether or not the gso 480 is a bad motor or not. i have just been told my a few motor builders to stay away from them

I have an engine, which if one has an engine, one has a boat. 0-360 angle valve, true 200 wide journal crank, (standard bearings), Big tube sump, Two bendix impulse mags, Timed perfect with "0" RPM drop from one to the other "at any RPM", turns a Sensenich 68x38 stick prop 3,000 RPM. Mags were built and timed by me,myself, and I. One extra like new cyl. All cyls are chrome with steel rings. All rods and bearings, pistons, rings, and wrist pins are balanced within one gram. Marvel MA4-5 Carb. Valve timing is set two degrees advanced and makes throtal responce very fast. In other words that Rap, Rap) "At present time engine is not up for sale". But, I soon have to sell in the near future. Just putting off what I know has to be and haveing trouble facing. I wanted to take one more last slide, but did something stupid and broke the prop taking out the metal work and hull. I can build my own metal work, and do excellent fiberglass repair. also have a used prop. Reality is tho, I'm just to old. sorry for talking to much.

Make me an offer that I can't refuse.

12' Hamant with 0-360(180hp) turn key and go.
