Airboating near Myakka?

Postby DDSBC » Sun Jul 13, 2014 10:27 am

Headed to my non airboating Uncle's house and looking for a place to take him out in my airboat. I'm from Broward County so I'm lost up here.

Thank you. Do you know of any directions or names of ramps for that area? Thanks

Boat ramp right off SR70 in arcadia. Before bridge. Nocatee boat ramp. Prob best for airboats run down river from there to Navigator restuarant. Another ramp.

Just got AV gas for $4.79 at Wauchula airport were I waited in line to fill up behind Eddie Jurnigan, Jr. Jurnigan's brother. I need to move up here it's $5.70 by me.

As the crow flies, you are 3 miles from my parents house. Head east on 64 a few miles and put in at Pioneer Park in Zolfo Springs. You can ride south (left from the ramp) all the way to Charlotte Harbour if you wish.

A pilot friend of mine just told me that they all fly into wauchula to top off because they have the best avgas price.

I paid 6.09 at the indian res the other day.
Broke.
