It was and still is about people. Rick has a magic touch and a cool head that aren't seen much today. Not to mention Rick and Teresa are still married and to each other too, and that isn't seen all that much today either. SA is just one of those things that only happens once in a while. I am proud to be able to help out.

Thanks Scotty, but I don't know about the cool head thing...at least not initially. When the shit hits the fan on SA, I usually just walk away & come back after I've had medication from the local convenience story :)

Sounds like the beginning of a plan Wayne. I'm glad you said Spring though. I'm fixin to get with Bobby and see about getting my old boat freshened up a little. Hard to believe I've been running that boat for 7 years now...where the hell does time go after 50?

Would be fun to see ya again Plum, same for Ken and so many others. Be cool if its closer to me this time though. That bike ain't as much fun to ride in the rain as it used to be. I still got my Tshirts from then too plus some others from Dusty's web site. I think my favorite is the Florida Legends shirt. Just points to a lot of history. Looking forward to seeing Cowboy, Rick and everyone else again. If I start now, I "may" be able to be ready by spring.

Wayne you ain't going to catch me in the age department, cause I am running out the other end as fast as you are playing catch up ! Its just plain crazy ! ! !

I didn't make that ride, largely because I was traveling with work.

I did however, find the T-shirt that Dusty made for that ride in another thread:
