I'm close but you know how it is. Steering, exhaust and wiring are about all that's left. I have it all here, just have to get it on the boat. I'll have more time when the kids get back to school next week.[/quote]

Let me know man. If u need me I'm there on weekends or afternoons

Only option if you make it up is to continue the loop or gotta come down a BIG hill into DEEP water Putting in at 44 and head south to the flats and flying eagle. Safer for all boats. Plenty of water now so everyone can make it skinny water once you get in flying eagle.

I could have seen you in tractor supply, I'm in there a lot. I live and work about 2 miles from there. I see 3-4 different boats come by my house. 2 look like black painted rigging and one looks like anodized aluminum with yellow seats.

The ride sounds awesome by the way, maybe I'll make it to one some day. I've rode Hernando before and it's great. Sounds like fun wherever y'all go.

FYI- the river is up. IF you have a big, tall boat, you may not get under the RT44 bridge.

Thanks for the heads up. Phil's rig could pass as a skyscraper lol. We will stay to the South of the 44bridge while on the Withlacoochee.

Well so far I have about 6-8 boats that are wanting to ride Hernando Saturday, Where are most of yall putting in and why? We were discussing putting in in the town of Hernando I guess but can we get to the skinny water from there or is all the good sliding south of 44?

I'm game for whatever, hell I'd be down to ride both areas putting in at Rutland park and then going down further to the ace hardware in inverness to put in also. I like the Withlacoochee stretch because I've been there before and want to check it out again. Like mentioned before, its got plenty of riding, a few obstacles, a spring, and a restaurant/bar.

good ride is to put in on 44 or outlet in lake pan on 470 head south to the flats go into flying eagle and cross over to hot dog island, flag island and head to sleepy hollow for lunch usually a good $5 meal they have you get the best of the nice river with water up and also the fun of skinny water. would join yall boys but wife has a barrel race sat afternoon. Should be plenty of people out to give you some pointers and maybe even a guide enjoy the day

X2. There were never any there when I used to ride it.

Anyways, I like the idea of checking out those places that I've seen on the CCA videos. Hopefully we can stumble across some of those spots if we cant find someone who is heading that way on Saturday.

There are not any 'no wake zones'.

Rode flying eagle Saturday. Best to get in there and out before all the crazys show up. tight trails with high brush. Some of those guys fly through there blind. Shut down and listen often. No place imho for kids later in day and towards evening.

Well I talked to some of my North Florida riding crew and they want to go to hernando first and then the river. Tommy, thanks for the heads up that we need to go to the ACE store in hernando and not inverness. At this point, anybody who want's to team up with us can meet @ the boat ramp behind ACE hardware @ 10am and we will be launched and gone by 1030.

The water is way up everywhere no getting under Turner camp road plenty of water here on the Hernando pool really more then I like. Like said in other post much safer in Hernando than the eagle less tight trails. Also as highlife said the ccaa club meeting will be at Armantes witch is a good place to eat if not wanting to grill and it's on the water just remember not to drive up on the bank there! Meeting will be around one. I may shoot over to the ramp and meet you guys.

Still trying to get conformation from most of my crew .....they are maybe this maybe that until the last minute. I have 4 confirmed now waiting on 6 more.
Is there some skinny water north of 44? We were wanting to do some playing and sliding but don't really want to go south of 44 if they get crazy.

I don't know of any skinny on the river I avoid it myself don't really care for dodging rocks but that's just me and I imagine the springs are flooded
