I figured it was going to be bad with the rain we got the other night. Hell it hasn’t been good for the last year. Don’t help that the road has turned into a play hole for four wheelers and whatever. Was out there during duck season and the road was nasty. Had to lock in 4wheel drive and pretty much drag boat trailer through there. I will only take my jeep now or until road is fixed. Boat and truck will not be going through there the way it is now. It’s a shame probably my favorite place to launch my boat.

Coleman Landing at Shady Oaks Public Recreation Area and Grape Hammock Fish Camp both offer great boat launches and LOTS of vehicle & trailer parking. If Thomas Landings is a difficult launch just before Feb. 21, there are two great alternatives for those coming from the east or south. There are several days between now and then - KRVSA will look into this.

Is it gonna be at Miles point? Water is dang near to the trees. My concern is I'm paralyzed and can't wheel through all that sand.

 Huh? Is this true? I have never seen the water even close to being that high. If so it will make for great riding in the marsh.

I was out two weeks ago and the water is way up. If it's gonna be there, there won't be much parking. Boats gonna be lined up for a mile.

Countdown is on less than a week to go so high water is no issues as the great part about Miles point is there is miles of shore line so see everyone Sat, we will be selling tickets at Camp Mack Friday night for the raffle boat over close to the stage, just looking for that sweet DB raffle boat, drop in and say Hi. :thumbleft: Everyone be safe

When you pull into the boat ramp area on your right you will see a small group of tables, picnic bench's and sound stage where they have the bass tournaments. We will have the boat setup there straight ahead is Camp Mack store where you pull up and pay for launch fee, to the left is offices and bathrooms. boat ramp is straight ahead. So see ya then :thumbleft:

Won't be hard to find -- the general store and the stage are down at the river on the way to the ramp. Lots of folks are coming in Friday to ride. This weekend, you can't get lost. From what is being said, it's going to be ral tough to even get to Thomas Landings, so for those coming from the east, go to Shady Oaks or Grape Hammock and hug the westshore up to Miles Point - you CAN'T miss it.

Bearsled - KRVSA doesn't have a "ride plan". With several hundred boats expected, lots of groups will be riding. Just jump in with one of those groups and tag along. Many will be watching some test and tune. Others will head north after lunch and ride Gardners Marsh. Still others will head south, then east and circle Brahman Island to look at exotic game. Come up to KRVSA's trailer, join the club and join any of us to ride after lunch. This is a BIG area wih lots of places to ride.

KRVSA's gathering is Saturday. We will be there pretty early, want everyone to join - $35.00 / year / family. We want everyone to buy some tickets for the incredible sweepstakes airboat - it's an easy way to support our efforts and you just may come away the BIG Winner - lots better odds than the Florida Lottery AND the Money stays LOCAL.

Your hot lunch will be served probably starting about 11:30 - $5.00 plate for a great Uncle Johns Pride Sweet Smoked Sausage and big helping of beans. Plenty of hot good food for everyone.

Largest gathering of airboats and airboaters in the World. Come On Down / Up.
where is lunch going to be served, will be at TCR but may make the drive to Camp Mack to join KRVSA, and buy some more tickets for raffle boat.
Thanks,

Latest forecast is 56 / 76. Absolutely no chance of rain - abundant sunshine PERFECT WEATHER. Come on out. Largest gathering of airboats and airboaters in the world. Bring your check book or credit card to join KRVSA and buy your tickets for the incredible Diamodback / Jurnigan 0-540 / Sensenich / Ramlin sweepstakes airboat.

If Tony Long would wrench faster, you could see the Goliath vs David test and tune ... but Goliath is still at Advance Auto buying anti-freeze and other readily available pumpkin parts.

And the Porn Starlet is just 1-1/2 daze away. So many posts - so much speculation ... EcoTough or EcoTwink?? Willy make it? Come see for yourself.

And HuntinBigun -- he's down to the last rachet twist too.

So MUCH drama .... Freedom Ride 2015
