Can you put frog spit over the line x bottom? My son has line x on his boat and would like to make it slide a little easier.

I doubt it. you'd probably have to grind all that line x off. or at a very minimum scuff it up REALLY good then clean it up. but the safe bet is to just grind it all off and start fresh.
