Best Slick bottom ?

Postby codachobee » Tue Dec 09, 2014 10:28 am

Just wanted to get some opinions on the different slick bottom paints put there. Time for a fresh coat on my hull. Any suggestions? Quick slick, frog spit ,gator glide, ect.

Your going to find numerous opinion on this matter. Is there a "best"? possibly. Will we ever know what that is? probably not because personal opinion has a lot to do with it. I personally run Quick Slick. I think its the slickest stuff out there, but it doesn't last as long as some of the others. I put it on my mudboat and I like it a lot. ice is hell on it, so Im guessing rocks will be too, but I don't run a ton of ice or rocks so it fits my needs pretty well. And best of all its only 94 bucks a gallon.

I prefer quick slick. I've had it on 2 boats and it's treated me well. Like said above, it does'nt last long but all slick bottoms are going to wear out at some point

I have used wetlander on my hull, it is slick as heck but just doesn't hold up long if you run dry much. especially if sandy mud.
hopes this helps
