Heard there was five. One D.O.A. and another still missing. Not 100% sure who it is.. I've heard Marty/Mickey Cruz or Crews.
12' aluminum hull, 350 sbc w/ flattop Pistons and camel hump heads, side by side seating w/ double in front, 2:1 gearbox and a 78" whirlwind whispertip 2.0

It hit the support beams of the bridge. That's rough. Thoughts and prayers go out to family and friends of all involved.

Article says hit a support beam, which would indicate the boat hit a horizontal member. Is water running high up there? I know warnings were sent out by another member a few days ago regarding the SR44 bridge being possibly an issue on the Withlacoochee due to high water. Since it was already dark when it happened, I wonder if he just didn't see the bridge or misjudged the clearance. What a shame. My deepest condolences for the losses.

Prayers sent , u can never be to experienced on an airboat ,we lost one of ours here in cocoa last year to the same thing ,it's hard to believe but it happens in an instant ,It's also changed my driving habits around structures ,ya never know ,we are praying for help to heal the wounded body's and hearts ,
