Seat Box

Post by Teal fun » Mon Mar 16, 2015 7:28 pm

Right now I have a single fat man driver seat behind a quad passenger up front. I want to add another fat man, side by side with the driver. Where do I find a fiberglass or aluminum box that will hold a seat and give me some dry storage? I will need two of them. My plan is to put the stick in the middle and drive from the right side. Thank You, Ken

Alumitech makes them anyway you want, I was looking at a single box angled sides with two fat man and console in middle.

My buddy Dave Boden did all my aluminum work here in Palm beach, both dry boxes and center console for my gauges and GPS. He owns Big Head Aluminum. Has built hundreds of aluminum buggy towers for the expensive palm beach buggies. He is priced great and fast turn around time. 561-662-9252

Alumitech can do it but draw some specs and plans and incorporate the stick. I built a trainer with two side x side sticks and the lag drove me nuts not having the cable to my stick or above the seat stand. The 17-18 inch rule applies also to above pivot if you can design the stick and cable to fit your needs as RSD left stick?
