Thanks to all that came out to KRVSA Lake Cleanup

Post by HuntingBigun » Sun Apr 12, 2015 10:57 am

The turnout was outstanding, Coleman Landing at Shady Oaks is a great spot for a event such as this, parking for boats and vehicles was very good and we had over 400 people for lunch and over 150 boats so the Board and all the members thank everyone for coming and Polk County Parks and Rec for letting us use the park as well, the director of Polk County Rec was there as well and was very pleased with turnout and the camp sites will go live this week sometime.

We also like to thank the Polk County Commissioners, FWC Director and Swiftmud Director that took the time to come and join in the fun

We could not have done the raffle boat without great support from our vendors and thank them as well Diamondback, Sensenich, Jurgians Engines & Ramline trailers, both Diamondback & Sensenich donated their products 100% to the club so please support the great companies that support all airboaters.

Plus for our auction we had even more support from vendors such as Diamondback, Sensensich, Jurgians, Gator Whispers, Painter Chic, Ole man Franks Bar & Grill, Nomad, Dave Markett to name just a few that donated raffle items.

     :salute: :salute: :salute: :salute: :salute: :salute: :salute:

Some have seen the mailer we sent out to registered airboaters with 5 raffle tickets that was the winning ticket bought for 2015 Diamondback Airboat is Donnis Barber from Zolfo Springs won with the mailer ticket number 22779

The Airboat charm was won by Dana Weihrauch

Bishop Wright won $$$$ for the most trash collected with 395 lbs so big atta boy to all that collected trash

We also have had a huge membership increase and have been mailing out KRVSA stickers and cards for all that joined on the web & mailer, we are excited looking forward to having more events at Coleman Landings and will have a ride in the future that will include camping and more fellowship with members so stay tuned also to hear about our property we own that is located off the airboat trail from Tiger Lake going to Miles Point as the club moves forward with that as well

Great times to be a member of KRVSA :thumbleft: :thumbleft: :thumbleft:

Here are the links for the pictures I took of the cleanup and another set of Saturdays rescue of Porkchops boat which sank Saturday night in the middle of North Cove. He had a piece of his hull break out and flipped his boat. And this was just before the big lightning and rain storm we had Saturday night.

well I guess I wasn't the lucky winner of the raffle boat I guess I am just going to have to buy a airboat this year. as yes its going to be a aircraft boat :D Glad everyone had a great time and the turn out was huge. I wish I could have went but I had some redfish and snook with my name on them. oh I am a proud new member of the KRVSA. so thanks for letting me join a great group of people. hope to be out there soon. Take Care & Ride Safe.

Huntin Bigun,

The boat sure looks sweet, so does she run as good as she looks? I bet she does.
