Diamondback Airboats

Post by nomad41 »

Ok for those that haven't figured it out. I went to Diamondback yesterday and ordered myself a new Diamondback hull. Its going to be 14.6 x 8. I can't thank Bobby Fleckinger , Diamondback Airboats and Fran for how I was treated. I felt like royalty. Got a tour of the whole operation and let me tell you its impressive. Thanks go to Wayne Bradbury He met me there and even took me to lunch. 3 to 4 weeks from now I will be the proud owner of a Diamondback boat. Going to be hard to wait that long. I have been wanting to change over for several years now. And thanks to Bobby its happening. Yea my old hull is for sale too. It will be available at Diamondback

Yep. I still have 2 gals of Frog Spit. Plus just put 3 gals on the old hull. Somebody will get a good deal with it.

No pictures unless you want me to post up what I have now. I don't think I will be back over there until they are ready for me. And then they will move rigging over. Then I'll have pictures. Unless Wayne takes pictures while they are building it.

I agree with you 100%, after buying my hull and metal works from them last year.
Scooter is top notch with customer service and his knowledge.
Another DB hull on the water soon, cant wait to see pictures.

10-4 to that. Scooter helped me out a bunch with my 8 year old Diamondback.

Big time congratulations, Bob. Happy for you, man! You'll be amazed at how much more
responsive that DB will be than your old 'glass hull, and you'll feel like you picked up another
100 hp. from the difference in weight and the shape of the bottom between the two. :thumbleft:

They don't mess around over there. If you were told you 3-4 weeks you can be sure you'll be back on the water in that period of time.
And yes, that is an exceptional setup they have. If you can dream it, they can build it.

I'm on my 3rd Diamondback and I don't know how they do it but every time I get one it is way better than the last, they are constantly improving there boats and Bobby with all the things he has going on still takes the time to make sure the boat is nothing less than fantastic when it leaves there shop, the SAR boat I have now is beyond words its so good every one that rides in it is just amazed on how good it rides and how much power it has, totally love that PCM LSA engine, I have had the boat going on 4 yrs now and its as good as the day I got it

I delivered my boat to Diamondback last Friday. They were still working on my new hull. Here are pictures from today. First picture is after they have set my rigging over on new hull. Last picture is it on its way to be water tested. After that all that was left was a little twicking and do a little adjust on trailer so boat fits on it. I will pick it up tomorrow.
