I have had my new Alumitech 13'6" x8 hull for a few months now. I have almost completed my engine stand and have started on my rigging now . Engine is at a friends being freshened up so hopefully will have it together in a few months as budget and time allows . As soon as I figure out how to add pics to a post i will add some of my progress.

What power plant. I'm fixing to buy a 14x8 and put a caddy on it.

When you get it together is be really interested to hear how it performs. Will give me some idea what to expect with my caddy.

From what others have posted its not the best choice for DD , but the motor was the right price. A freshen up and low end cam with the timing advanced and a distributor kit and time will tell !
Got a JD Square bender mounted and starting on the rigging now .

:thumbleft: I am anxious to see how it does ! Should be decent on fuel I hope.
Just got to get busy and get it finished. Gonna be some late nights again. Good thing I'm divorced this time .

Well after 9 weeks and having 3900 kids and around 2000 adults summer has ended, time to get back on the boat. Thought I was gonna work on it at night but that hasn't happened. Sleep always seemed to take priority. Sucks when work interferes with hobbies!

I would like to know something, I'm going to have a hull built this fall and I only live 5 miles from Triple W Airboat company so I thought I might get them to build my hull but I never hear anything about them on here, why is that.

Cage coming along. I have to give credit to all of you that work with the stainless everyday. Man does this stuff pull and twist if you get it to hot! Definitely not as easy as mild steel
