Riding around Oviedo

Post by Hendog458 » Tue Aug 04, 2015 11:13 am

Since it seems the water is still low in the glades... Going to drag my boat down to do some work at my dads shop this weekend. Hoping to get some riding in as well. Anyone have any decent spots around the Oviedo/central florida area? Or if anyone is heading out and wouldn't mind me tagging a long for bit, that would be awesome.

Never rode in that area but there is a launch on SR50 just a little west of 95 and also have Loughmans Lodge off 46
Many could live on what we have wasted.

LOTS of great riding in Oviedo.

Lots of fun places to ride from Black Hammock fish camp to the brick yard to the church yard and on to the rope swing and top it off at the sand bar. (Mostly deep water)
OR
You could drag your boat about 20 minutes east of Oviedo thru Geneva to Jolly Gator Fish Camp.
Put in and head south to Loughman Lake Lodge. Lots of fun places to stop at...B.S. Hill- Orange Mound, Bears bluff.

Get ahold of some locals and they will show ya around.

Still don't know whats going on with my mag. Zero spark. Cleaned and gapped the points, replaced the condenser. Only thing i can figure is that its grounding out somewhere, and I'm too frustrated to find it. :banghead:

Took the boat to my cousins yesterday, and he got it all sorted out. Just went all through the mags and he messed with the carb a bit. Got it running better than ever. Thank you to everyone who was offering help. We'll all have to get together and ride soon.
