Boat almost came off trailer/polymere worn now porpoising
Boat almost came off trailer/polymere worn now porpoising
Going down the road and the winch gave out. Boat came off trailer but the strap was still attached. The polymer hit the road on the tail end. Thought I lost the boat. I now use straps on the back end. Did not see any damage until I went riding. The boat now porpoises really bad. Looking for suggestion on how to fix. I live out towards floral city/ hernando county. Any help or suggestions.

If it is an aluminum hull you might have just bent the back edge of the boat up and that will change the way the boat rides

Ditto. Use a dead blow hammer "Gently" amazing what a few taps will accomplishCmcintosh721 wrote:If it is an aluminum hull you might have just bent the back edge of the boat up and that will change the way the boat rides

FWI... that is a $70.00 ticket in Florida! Fl. requires the boat be secured to the trailer front and rear.
