Saturday I am going to celebrate his memory by killing deer that day. Then I'm going back to camp and drinking 4 or 5 shots of Bookers Bourbon and toast him. :thumbleft:
Man he was one of a Kind.

Maybe shoot my AR indiscriminately into the shooting berm from my porch.(alcohol will dictate) :dontknow:

Saddened to hear this just now. Dusty was a good guy. I had the pleasure to know him as he and his dad and brother were neighbors of mine a while ago in Palm Beach. I, as most, won't ever be of his caliber of a sportsman/outdoorsman. I am lucky enough to remember him as he was when I knew him. I was scared of the guy driving his buggy through the acreage by my home. He would come back by a few hours later with a giant pig strapped on the back of it. I was intrigued by him. I finally got to talk to him one day when we were all out by our neighbors house. I told him about my airboat and he wanted to see it. I was proud to show it to him as this was my first boat and I knew nothing about them except they were fun. He gave me some pointers, I can say I wasn't sure what he was talking about but I listened and what he told me was true. He moved away and I saw him on this site so I PM'd him and he got back with me quickly. Unfortunately I never saw him again except here on SA. I treasure life more than most will know and I have learned a lesson from his passing. I wish him well in heaven and his family the best on earth. GB

I found this site long ago when it first started I could not drive I'm 27 now. Rick, grant, dudley, canefan, professor, biggobbler,Brewster and a few more were the main show. I was hooked built a gilileo 10'9 with 150hp Lycoming I've had many good times on. I've never met any of these guys and have never posted but I understand the void that is present. Slide free and easy Brewster RIP

Dusty was just one of those guys you are blessed to have been able to spend time with, it seems like just yesterday we celebrated 2000 members on SA and Dusty made the shirts for the party at Camp Mack, then Dusty made all the shirts for the RIde club CFASC we had back in 08-11 would not take any extra money for putting club members custom names on the shirts and would drive up for all the events we had, still have mine from those fun days, it is a shame we have lost so many folks from SA that used to post all the time, most are still active airboaters and some we have lost for ever............... The most remember about Brewster is when he and
Grant went coonass country after the storm
For work and had to run a car motor boat
(A big one) and we didn't hear the end of it
Like the post above said 5 years ago this was
A different site and he was one of the main
Daily posters among others like stated he will
Be missed without a doubt with his family
The best through these hard times and my
Condolences..!

I'm a little surprised there hasn't been more of a response on this page for dusty. for a lot of years he lived on this page, he made a lot of friends and prolly a few foes. I know he hadn't been on this page much recently, but when we were a small group that just liked having fun and cutting the shit with each other he was a big deal. IMO helped get this page where it is now. I just think it out grew him. but those that knew him personally know he would of been there to help anyone of yall. just seems like a shame. this site was a family at one time not just a forum.

Like most long time blow boaters i tended to hang with my self or
friends and family... one fall afternoon i was sitting in the bushes waiting on a deer in a undisclosed area and the last fl cracker came skimming by he didn't see me but neither did the game warden 10 mins before ,but that was how i used to airboat.. i had seen him on the not so old website SA and read his original stories and seen his photo shopping skills, i also had seen visions of him and all the sawgrass U boys ,Grant, Cowboy doing things down south i had done in my youth so i felt like i knew the boy...
so i fired her up and lit out to catch him an say howdy do, well he turned back and seen me and man did he showered down an took off like his ass was on fire and his head was catchin, well i figured he wanted to race so so i hung my petite petal to the expanded metal and let it eat ...long story short he pulled up when he figured out i wasn't the law, a jealous husband , or he didn't owe me money ,, we taked till way after the sun went down just like we had been best friends since birth or even better than that like 2 brothers from a different mother....
I'm sad to know i will never get to see or talk to him again, but i will always remember him as a great and a good friend .....
Farewell Dusty Brewster :rebel:

good stuff plum. I knew dusty long before SA ever existed. we hunted quite a bit when we both lived in west palm but kinda lost touch when he moved up to N. florida. long story short I happened a cross this web site and joined low and be hold here he was. we picked up right where we left off, once he moved back south it was game on. we had a lot fun and killed a lot of shit. we would have side bets usually consisting of a bag of Redman. that was always the currency we chose to trade. some i'd win some he'd win but payment really never mattered it was always the competition. we bet on every thing from racing home from the bar, tug o war with our trucks which was one of my greatest victories! snatched the whole flatbed of his truck, and took us 2 days to rebuild. But damn that ****** could kill some deer! In the 20yrs I've known him I never seen him quit or give up anything you just don't see that in people everyday. It was always a good time if he was around. usually dangerous or illegal but a good time.
I sure hope to see a lot of people at his house Saturday. hell if just a quarter of the people that he knew show up is will be one hell of a time with some great stories. :florida:

Never had the pleasure of meeting Dusty, since I'm slidin' in Texas, but always remember the entertaining posts he would be involved in here back in the day. It usually always involved a photoshop war that would go back and forth, and he would never give up. Along with his photoshop skills was his witty sense of humor that always had me staring at the computer laughing. Condolences to his family, and loved ones. He will be missed in the airboat community for sure.

I met Brewster at a fund raiser for him at Loughmans but didn't have the privilege of knowing him as a friend.
I'm sure he was a cool guy to be around...after seeing all of his CRAZY upper case posts on SA who wouldn't like him?? Being an Adobe Photoshopper myself, i can relate to his T-Shirt talent :thumbleft: Keep it slidin Brewster :rebel:
