Dave you sure know a lot about my motor for not building it. Tony's boat ran damn good, can't take nothing away from him there.

My motor is a 490" RHS with Brodix Heads and FAST LSXR 102 intake. Not quite the 502" you think I have. Tweaked on the boat some more, maybe we should have that race again and see if there's any more boat lengths to be had lol

Thanks for letting me know, my guess was only off by 12 cubic inches. Honestly I had 1/2 a dozen people tell me it was a 502 so I was just repeating what I was told. How did it do against Bronsons 440 I was told you all were going to race.

I can promise you I don't have a bottle on my boat...i guarantee you Shane and Terry checked it out that Friday night after we all went to sleep when they came by to check out my boat and see what prop I had on it and how much pitch was in it. Haha
It's all in the setup! Says a lot about the boat Hamant builds that it can run with a big inch high dollar RHS with a way smaller motor that makes waaay less power. And as far as mine being tweaked and worked on...I haven't touched the jacks in the hull since we loaded up on the trailer for the Broward show and the only thing I've done is took a shim out of the motor the first night we raced Terry in his go480 Dynamarine..other than that I tried a saber one weekend. She's been in straight up family ride boat mode. Hell here's the dyno sheet for all the doubters...

Hahahaha...even if I lost I really one on the big picture.
Not bad for being outgunned by 140+ horse. Throw enough power at something though and it's bound to go fast...just not as fast as it would on a properly setup good running hull. :D

I always cheer for the smallest motor. Another reason I cheer for Chuck Hawks 427 in unlimited! That Hamant hull is a running bitch for sure and Tony has a good engine combo on it. It may not be a dyno King but it run's like a beast where it matters most!

Post that again Tony, Bdriller is struggling to wrap his mind around this. He doesn't understand how a boat with 150hp less and half the cost can run with such a boat as the dynamarine. :la:

I'm sure DM could build a stock block and head engine that would do the same job.top fun did it with old school gen 1 iron junk for $7000.00 and traded licks wiith both of thunders unlimited engines. I don't think it would matter if DM got in that ass with a 4.3 he still wouldn't get any respect for some folks. That's a shame!

It's all good and I sure ain't no sore loser. I saw how much prop was swung just didn't know the RPM but Tony said what he was turning. Weird, same pitch as Bronson's 440" to the same RPM. Either it's a weak ass 440" or a damn strong 418". Course there ain't nothing to the ol' Farmboat so how can it not run with 600+hp right? Both Tony and Bronson turn the same prop with the same ratio box to the same RPM.

Here's a video from Thunder. Even let him get the hit and still put it on a Water Thunder 440" on a 14' ride boat. Guess he had a poor hull cuz it has plenty of power right. :stirpot: :stirpot:

Tony I'm a good sport man and I'd be glad to run'm back. You know I ain't scared to drive down and handle my own business. Let me know when and we'll see where they stack up now. I know I had some left in my boat, how much is left in yours? Sure Dave has a few tips and tricks for you, I know it just tickles him pink that you ran as close as you did. Might not be the same the next go round. Hell it's racing and you might take all 3, especially with me driving LOL :D

Here's Bronson's turning 6000rpm. Pretty much the same as Tony's to the same RPM. Looks like the 416" motor Tony spec'd with the Water Thunder tune is a bad mofo :D
