First full garage build

Post by brad33478 »

Well figured I'd throw some of my build pics up, see what people thought and had any suggestions.

Took a 93 sbc and punched it out to 355, eagle connecting rods all new bearings and seals, HP oil pump. Reworked stock heads new springs and seals. Got a B&M 144 supercharger in a deal so put in a Summit 1105 supercharger cam with new lifters on it. Running lower ratio so only boosting around 3-5 psi
Schoenfeld long tubes that I need to cut down some or find different style.
Holley 750 that I boost referenced, Holley blue fuel pump and regulator.

Got 12x7 deck over from my room mate. Had transom damage. Replaced whole transom and put in new supports for my engine stand. Moved 20 gal fuel tank forward, probably carry two 6 gallon jugs up in there too. Had to modify rear end of cage to fit everything.

Have a blue lightning 2.3:1 reduction and Wesley over at water walker hooked me up with a 76" 4 blade.

Trial ran it and blew head gasket on driver side (what I get for being dumb and using stock head gaskets) so I'm stripping heads and oil pan off to check everything out and have deck inspected and hopefully be on water soon.

Yeah I'm going to see if I can cut them down but I have baffles in the collectors, it's around 4" right now. I've seen other guys say around 5-6" and they've been running for years
