It is over priced for what you are getting. A GTO hull is not the best performing hull. That 480 will such gas on that hull with seating for 4 and 3/4 inch poly. You can buy a new boat that performs better for less than that.

Oh you guys are great. Yeah I looked at that boat. Here is what I want. Aluminum hull with poly, stainless cage, it has to be a brand name hull no older then 2009 with enough power to go anywhere with 4 people.

That will be a gas guzzling no performing turd. There's no way I'd spend that kind of money for a gso boat setup like that...they don't hold their value. That should be about 20k. Find you a good cm boat and be done.

That boat is just a bit to expensive for me but it is a supercharged 480 with a gear box and I was told it would run dry with six guys in it. I do want to go to a car engine I only looked at that boat because I was over there.

Yeah that boat is out of my price range but I can tell you it is built right with a ton of power.

I own a fiberglass hull already. I like how wide they are, how tough, hold more people, and I have my welding certs for stainless, steel, and aluminum. My gpu boat is as good as it gets I want a larger change that I can go to salt water, rivers, and lakes with the ability to invite 3 friends and still run dry.

does anybody have any knowledge of possible corrosion problems with polly bottom aluminum boats? This 16' renegade would do all that you mention, this 450hp boat will run right beside his 15' renegade boat with a 650 hp motor it is incredible how this boat performs also it has the polly stringers instead of wood, and the new resin instead of fiberglass resin, also has carbon fiber integrated into it. If it had a diamond back hull under it someone would be asking 58k for it instead of 28k
