Check your steering

Postby glades cat » Wed Aug 24, 2016 8:13 am

How many of us are in the habit of paying attention to detail when we do our walk-around before riding? I went for a short ride a couple of weeks ago and the steering felt a bit loose. When I returned I noticed where the steering arm attaches to the rudder didn't look right. I unbolted it and it fell apart. I had the rudder welded and fab'd another steering arm. Will install today.
Metal fatigue is alive and well. Check your components.
