Opinions on next boat I can't decide!
So I've been kicking tires for the past few months and can't decide what I want for a next boat. I'm leaning towards aircraft with an aluminum hull. I'm not apposed to a gearbox boat just seems hard to find an affordable one. I'd be running mostly the glades and Lake O and Kissimmee. Would like something I could hunt as well but also a good ride not. Don't want something that porpoises either. Just curious to hear everyone's opinion on some hulls to check out. I'd love to find a good palm beach hull that isn't beat to shit or even a hammant ultra light. I like sleds but would want one with a higher transom. I'm all ears just curious if I'm missing some key deciding factors to think of before buying one.

Saw a sick ultralight for sale not long ago with a 540 but was just out of my price range. And would love an al David hull just hard to find a complete boat with one for less than 20k

I have always had fiberglass tub style air boats and now have a deck over it is a taller one in back and a bit heavy but I have never been able to let off the gas completely at 40 mph in deep water before. I had the main power wire come loose shutting the boat down we were going pretty fast and just a tiny bit of wash over in the very back we were in 12 foot deep water safe as can be very new to me. I know most people down south are in shallow water so it may not even apply to you.

I love how deck overs slide but they make me nervous in deeper water

I run mine in deep water all the time, never an issue, just keep in mind not all fulldecks are built a like.

Not sure how I feel about a fiberglass hull I've been on 2 and wasn't very impressed. Would love to get an Al David though if I find one for the right price.

I really want a complete boat unless I find a good deal on a palm beach or al David hull. I have 13k saved so far
