Passing Of Boyd Stossel

Post by Vixter » Sat Dec 31, 2016 11:03 pm

Very, very sad to hear of the passing of Boyd Stossel. He was a good person, a great friend and an awesome airboat engineer. And, he helped out a lot with the production of the Bob Stossel documentary. He will be missed big time.

Always sad to hear of the passing of anyone instrumental to the progression and popularity of airboating.
Their ranks seem to be decreasing over time, just as fast as the usable swamp and marshland.

Thanks again, for posting the link to that video.
There are likely those who were not aware of it, or seen it. :thumbleft:

Prayers sent for family and friends.

I hate to hear that Bobby's place was right down the street from my Dad's lumber yard and as a kid I would love to go down there and see what they were building in their day the stossel Airboats were the Rolls Royce of Airboats there was nothing better
