Re: Veterans Appreciation Day Run
How do you guys verify these folks are actual veterans? Just take their word for it?
I'm just curious is all.

Contact name and number for organizer please? Have a couple of questions.
Re: Veterans Appreciation Day Run
Their is an organization, Buddy Up, that verifies vets by their DD214. The members must provide one in order to have the membership. Unknown how other groups verify.

Thanks "Pipedog". I've hosted this event for 4 or more years now and seem to have too many projects going on. LOL. For those interested, go to face book and search OLD GLORY CAMP. This is my page and has daily updates on all my adventures. I CAN be reached @ 561 722 1712. TEXTING is best for me so that I can reply at my convenience. Or, leave a message and I will reply later.

Jeep, to some folks it is, the "entitled" don't give a sheet. I do this each year (with or without veterans) as a reminder that some do appreciate the freedom that we have today because of our veterans. I will try to include some of the PBCSO personnel this year and expand this event to other counties and municipalities in the future. These are our home front soldiers that die every day and deserve to be recognized.

Re: Veterans Appreciation Day Run
is very heartwarming and satisfying. Unfortunately, I'll be getting on the road too late to make it. But I will definitely make it to Old Glory to see you Gerald, while I'm down. Maybe I'll even have a trick up my sleeve for supper

My in-laws are there with my twins, wasn't aware with so much other stuff going on, next year will have my boat ready I hope, as you know a painter's house is never bright, a roofer has leaks and a carpenter lacks baseboards. Great tribute to our veterans, kudos!!
I never finish anyth,,,.
