:rebel: There is a rumor going around but as of now there is no such news release from FWC to confirm ,I have checked the water level for the last two previous shut downs and we still have 5 1/2 to. 6 inches to go. SO PLEASE DO NOT GIVE ME A HEART ATTACK BY POSTING 3A-3B CLOSED :rebel:

Hey Scotty I copied that off off Facebook. I got a call earlier stating that it was closed and then seeing that letter for sure confirms it. We were headed down Friday morning. This water level game they play is getting old

Ok folks. Just spoke with Mr Reinert, who confirmed the Exec Order shown above is a draft and about to be signed "very soon". He said there are some language changes as to access and activities...so we'll wait and see. I wouldn't make any plans. They're closing it pronto.

:rebel: ya spoke the people at the res, and they said they are exspecting the closure to come down today, this really blows does anyone know if they are opening up gates or pump stations to lower it yet :rebel: With all these billions of dollars of tax payers money they spent to control the water you would think they should be able to do it by now. BUT I GUESS THAT WILL NEVER HAPPEN WHAT A WASTE :violent1: :dontknow:

I was told they determine when to close areas by the amount of animals on the levee seen from a airplane.

:rebel: I still do not see any closures on FWC and have not heard of any phone calls or anything out of the miccosukees. If I lived closer I would run it until something was documented :rebel:

It's official. It is posted on the FWC website and went into effect at 12:01 this morning. 3A South is open only east of the Miami Canal.
