Fire at Lake Flourence

Just a heads up there is a BIG fire at the Landing at Lake Flourence caused by Lightning they said.....on the bright side the back trail should be good to ride after it burns all the over grown shrubs :) the FWC had the landing closed down while it burns

The wind is blowing E 6mph. Since the oak head is aboit 10 miles due south, it would take a significant wind change to affect the oak head. Since it is summer, that is very unlikely. Especially since there is an 80% chance of rain in about 3 hrs.

Huge thunderstorm right on top of the fire but with 636 lightning strikes it sure to burn more

After talking to one of the drivers of their forestry trucks they'll let a fire like that burn as long as it doesn't effect livelihood and I also heard their was forestry starting another but the next day by the landing to finish it off due to overgrowth and they just happened to spray the area days before the fire to kill some of the area haven't got any facts just rumors
