Scallop question

How far north of Crystal River have any of you guys found scallops,

Andy I found 2 dozen scallops recently at Shaggy's on Pensacola beach. A bit north of crystal river - Hope this helps

When I was a kid we used to go out between the islands at cedar key on the lowest tide and walk around the flats in ankle deep water.

But that was over 40 years ago, damn I'm getting old.

I have seen a few out just north of yankeetown but was very murky.

One eye- in the flats of cedar key is where I have gotten all my scallops in past 4 years. No one out there not conjested. Always got our limit. Homo, and crystal river ain’t worth it no more too many idiots not scalloping around 50+ drunks that can’t drive a boat.

Hopefully this rain will stay away n we will have some in the rock garden at St Mark's if we have a lot of rain and the rivers pump out a lot of fresh water scallops seem to shy away

Yea typicality we go up north of the Hatchee. Water seems to stay clear away from the rivers. Good Luck to all !!

Last time, pretty far back, the runners to dry load had screws sticking up and at low tide the regular ramp the trailer would back into mud. I like the John Brown ramp at Ozello, you can get out between the crowds.
