Working on the site today...

Postby rick » Sun Nov 16, 2014 12:42 pm

...gonna start with updating the classifieds, then try to get the new store online.

There's gonna be a little downtime for the classifieds, but I'll be trying to keep that to a minimum.

Took a little longer than expected, but with the exception of a little tweaking left to do, the SA Classifieds script has been updated. No major changes in the way things work that I see.

SA also has a new store up & running for anybody that's interested: http://www.southernairboat.com/store

One thing to note is that the store's user database is not integrated with SA's standard user database so the login would not work until you create a user account with the store....or just checkout as a "guest" if you'd rather not setup a store account.

Your account was registered as an underage account. I changed that so you should see a "Place An Ad" link in the classifieds.

Thanks hirise. We do our own shirt printing so that keeps the prices down.

Last time we ordered long sleeves, our supplier didn't have 3X. Just checked and they do now, so I'll order some & have them in the store by end of week.

Thanks,
Rick

Rick,
Are you able to print names on the shirts? I think it would be great if you could print my name on the front and my screen name in larger letters across the back. That way when we're out riding other people can put a name with the face.

Does anyone else like this idea? Thanks, Rich

Sorry for the late reply Rich.

We'd need to use heat transfers for the custom names. We screen print our shirts so we're not really setup to do that, but it ain't out of the question. I do have a heat press; just need to do some studying first...let me see what I can come up with.

Junker, I printed some 3x long sleeves tonight and have them listed in the store if you're still interested...thanks

Junker, I'm one of them 'skinny' guys too ..... I love long sleeve T-shirts in 2X.
Rick, any chance of gettin' some shirts in navy blue ..... with maybe white or red lettering? Thanks!

If you can email me your pictures, I'll get them uploaded: webmaster@southernairboat.com

Thanks junker...we appreciate the order.

Ken, I'll put that on the "to do" list. Light ink on a dark shirt is gonna require new artwork & screens. It is something I need to and will take care of it as soon as I get a chance.
