Hurricane Irma

Postby kwanjangnihm » Wed Sep 06, 2017 7:20 am

What is everyone doing for Irma? Just got back from Lowe's getting some plywood to board up windows.

Please post any tips you may have for home, property & airboat to prepare for hurricane.

Thanks and stay safe!! :thumbleft:

Make sure to have adequate beer, dump the boat on the ground and take the Rudders off.

Don't forget to fill hull with water otherwise you just have a rudderless kite.

Load up family, all guns, Airboat ( these are the only things that are important) and get the hell out of here. This storm isn't worth taking a chance with at all. Hope everyone stays safe.

Made it through Irma. No house damage. Trees and power lines down. Helping neighbors with chainsaw.
Roof collapsed on one home. No one hurt.
Hope all is well with the SA family!!

Sorry to hear that Ducknutt. Hope everybody's okay.
We lost a few trees, but had no other damage to speak of. Still waiting on power & internet though.

Appreciate it Rick. Everybody unscathed and that's "what's up". I'm in Glades county and I'm hearing weeks rather than days for power
