East Lake/Narcoosee Road

Postby CRACKERSTYLE » Mon Nov 24, 2014 9:01 pm

Havent been out that way in awhile.....
Narcoosee Road is 6 lanes Orange County side and 4 lanes thru to 192...
About all the wwods and pastures are gone.
Schools, apartment complexes and tons of houses.

I bet that lake is going to hell in a hand bag for airboating.

What a shame-lots of memories at East Lake

Yes sir, it is heartbreaking. East lake is where I cut me teeth with airboats. My dad and I would stay in the cabins when I was a kid a few times a month. We use to Run with Dave Johnson and Buford at the time which were the good ol days. Now there is Houses around 90% of the lake with the Yankees bitching about airboats noise. Soon there will not be any old Florida left due to all these foreigners and yanks moving here. In my opinion they should not be allowed to build another subdivision anywhere. Developers suck!

Cracker I know the cabins you are talking about. AND I just sold a boat for Buford. He has been down a few times in the last few months. He is on here as BufordC.

Then you do know him to say that. He pulled an airboat on a trailer from Tennessee twice with no plate. Pm me your info.

The cabins on the north side of the lake by the pocket cove. Around the curve by where Boggy Creek starts. The farthest cabin someone burnt down around 98. It was over by the golf course.

Those cabins were our hang out. I remember the old wicker chair that were left on the porch.
