Hurricane Irma

What is everyone doing for Irma? Just got back from Lowe's getting some plywood to board up windows.

Please post any tips you may have for home, property & airboat to prepare for hurricane.

Make sure to have adequate beer, dump the boat on the ground and take the Rudders off.

Don't forget to fill hull with water otherwise you just have a rudderless kite.

On my way home from Georgia..we got spared last year with Mathew even know it took a week to clean up my yard of debris.. hoping for the best.. haven't seen the last updates or latest track since this morning but this is a huge storm.. everyone get prepared the best you can & be safe!

dumped my cottonmouth on the ground and filled the hull with water :cry:
stringers are getting a good soaking for sure!! :violent1:

Made it through Irma. No house damage. Trees and power lines down. Helping neighbors with chainsaw.
Roof collapsed on one home. No one hurt.
Hope all is well with the SA family!!

Lost power for about 20 hours but no big deal worst thing is roof on my shed blew off and landed right behind shed so a little wood work to fix it tomorrow

We are intact no damage.
Tree limbs and debris with NO POWER

All good here..lost power bout 11:30 that night & phone service..got power back this morning bout 4:30..thousands of frawns & pine limbs but we're safe that's all that matters! It was definitely a ride.. hopefully everyone else is safe!

made it thru, lost some shingles-tree damage, boats are good-no one hurt but did some damage to some Budlight :cheers:

We lost a few trees, but had no other damage to speak of. Still waiting on power & internet though.

Appreciate it Rick. Everybody unscathed and that's "what's up". I'm in Glades county and I'm hearing weeks rather than days for power
