The wife and I both got tags also. It's definitely going to be a fun and busy season. They definitely are not close to where we live but we will make it a family week get away. The kids should have a blast doing with us. My oldest boy got his first gator 4 years ago and it's still something we talk about all the time.

My buddy, brother in law, and me all got tags for the same area and same phase. First time in 5 years that I draw a tag! Very exciting.

What method are y’all using. I have watched a video where a guy uses a large hook and fishing pole.

Have crossbow set up 2 bows set up 2 8' harpoons and 2 heavy spinning rod/reel combos and a hand line with #4 or 5 treble hook with barbs filed off to get them off the bottom I use as well i have more than needed but never too little lol. floating a hog lung works well too. I prefer the spot and stalk method but have had success waiting for them to come to me.

I have 1 100% disabled Veteran lined up that I will be taking out hunting will find another for other tag. Guy I am taking as of now has never been gator hunting before so should be a good trip for him/them. With all the rain I sure hope 3A stays open

Unforgiven awesome. Let me know if you make it down and maybe we can ride or at least come see you. I'm 99% sure he won't have a problem with it at all. I know he has been busy working on Judges camp but he will get back to you.
