help i need a source for beef or pork lung

Looking for gator bait. Been looking round town for beef or pork lung and folks look at me like I am crazy. One guy said it was not legal to sell. Anyone got a number around the WPB area. Need a couple now to season for the weekend. PM or call 561-856-3271

i just had the inards of a 210 pound hog that I fed to the buzzards last week.
i guest that i could have froze it and use my self. :shock:

I saw an armadillo on the road but doubt that would be a prime bait with the crunch factor. Maybe a road kill cat would be good.

Thanks guys Big Eds was my first call and he could not get any at the time. Trying a couple of other sources but still looking.

I guess a heart will do but does it float like the lung?

Let it sit in the sun for a day. It must dry out a little, then it needs to smell just right. They love a stankin heart.

If you can't find lung try a chick quarter. It work for me last year and i put alittle of the spray foam between the skin and the meat. I left it out in the heat for a day or two and it worked just fine. Good luck

Memories.

35 years or so ago when we would butcher a hog early in the morning my dad was going to have liver & lights hash for breakfast - no doubt about it.

Me, I was a lightweight. I wanted the tenderloin fried up to eat with grits and then pure cane syrup & biscuit. Maybe a little melted cheese on the side.
