I went to Rodman and had a lot of fun and saw plenty of small ones. We eased up on a fair size one but when we got close he left town but the 12 inch one in the picture stayed behind. lol You have to look close to see him he is so small.

We split our crew up and my Grandson went to Crescent Lake and said he could of took several 6-7 footers but passed on them. The did shoot at one 8-9 footer with crossbow but bad shot and hit it square in the head and the bolt didn't penetrate.

Hunted Lake Hatchineha Thursday and Friday. A lot of boats out, a lot of traffic
on the water. Gators seemed awful shy.
We did get a shot at one but didn't get him.

We have several tags and two are for Rodman. We want to get done with that area this week so we took a small sized one last night. Only 6'6" but still taste like chicken. lol Had about an 8 footer on the fishing pole but he got off. We are banking on taking our big ones in Crescent Lake.

Is anyone having trouble in Lake George this year? I know I am. Water is up and weeds everywhere.

Working on getting my grand daughter into hunting she holding the harpoon next to my bud. Only one problem, Take the gator down from the rack and shes running away.

My crew backed out last minuet but I was able get another new gator hunter Xavier out for his first snare. Not easy to do it alone.

Thanks for sharing your pics and stories guys. REALLY cool for a guy who doesn't get to see these things, and see them hunted and caught. Very cool!
