Yes, we do our deer this way for packing them out. It doesn't take very long to get the meat off, packed up, and be on your way out. I most always leave the head and antlers, unless the boat is close.

We call that "violating" the deer. Never could understand why people pull out the guts. I don't want them.

The only reasen we go inside is I hate to loose the tenderloins. But we do it that way frequently with hogs.

I never get the chance to shoot a deer big enough to have a tenderloin bigger than a tube of toothpaste.

PM I dont ever open up the guts now and still get the tenderloins. Just make a small cut where they would be and slip your fingers in and gently pull em loose n out works great.
