yesterday's Buck

Post by Sniper » Fri Oct 31, 2014 8:40 am

Got this 9 pt buck on the way to my stand, I was walking the edge of the field I was hunting that had small rolling hills and I was about 30 yrds from my stand when I saw his head pop up on the opposite side of the hill I was skirting so we both just froze and stood there staring at one another and after about 3 minutes of that he finally took three steps forward which exposed his neck so I eased the gun up and shot him standing off hand at about 75 yrds

Nope, folks there didn't protect their rights or were seduced by green preservation propaganda spewed out everywhere including hunting agency rule making meetings..

yea we have a pretty long hunting season but the deer population is fairly good sized, but nowhere the way it used to be thanks to them dang coyotes, I hope I get to kill as many this year as I did last because we have a serious problem with yotes here in Georgia, pluss they are a lot larger here than they are in othe states I know hunters that have killed Coyotes here that are pushing 80 lbs

It's a LSS Chassis made by MDT in Canada with a two screw Remington 700 action and a 40x trigger and it uses an Accuracy International AICS detachable box mag, the barrel 1 in 8 Creger chambered in 243 with a Keith Anderson custom muzzle break, the Scope is a Nightforce SHV and the rings are night force as well

Just the way my luck goes. When I lived near ATL airport I would drive hours to go hunting.... Sniper is killing them at the end of the runway :angry5:
