Fishing has been great. I haven't caught any bulls but tons of upper slot fish with good weight to them

What do you use for bait? I've been fishing for them 3 times from my Kayak and haven't caught the first one yet. I used shrimp once and caught a catfish.

GCRedfisher wrote:Anyone been fishing the last two weeks? Last time I went, the Redfishing had really slowed down. Havnt been in about 10 days and was curious if it's still slim pickins? I'm hoping this little bit cooler weather will help some cause it sure turned off in a hurry!
If anyone has fished dale hollow lake or Cedar Key let me know what y'all think!

Hello,
That is a nice place for fishing you can try .

I think there are some negative tides the first week of Oct, I'm looking forward to a break from the heat and the fishing to pick up. Have you all seen they are revisiting the trout regs?

I did see that. Hopefully they don't mess with the bag limit. Looking forward to filling the freezer up again. Sucks they took the reds back down to one per person again.

Nice reds. There are Plenty of schools of overslots roaming around on outside now, and lots of slots with a few overslots on grass islands just outside creek mouths
