nice job hog guts..my Saturday morning hunt started off great ended up a sad day..had a doe walk on me at 8am at 30yrds... watched her feed a cpl minutes till i had a shot at 20yrds..stood up & drew back & got her sighted in but the sun shining thru the trees made it kinda difficult to see but got her lined up & let the arrow fly..i heard a good thump & she took off..so i waited bout 15 min & found my arrow & seen i had a pass thru,so i then trailed blood for bout 40yrds & backed out for bout 30min then me & a buddy started tracking,we tracked blood thru these willows on our hands & knees for 2 & a half hrs till we came to where it got pretty wet in these willow trees & there was no blood trail,we then back traced over & over..we never did find her..makes me sick when this happens, not sure what happened other than i hit her bad!! even though i practice over & over these things happen, sunday bout 1pm i started seeing buzzards circling so i knew she was found..i hate it that this happens but when the blood trail ended at the water i knew i was probably in trouble!

Nice collection of deer! I'm not on my SC lease this year, just doing river hunts until my December trip to my buddies Xmas tree farm. Good luck with helping them bucks to a dirt nap.
