Is it suicide??

Postby mojoe » Fri Mar 24, 2017 8:07 am

Just heard the dumbest thing I have heard of actually happening on public land yet. My buddy was hunting a spring gobbler quota opening weekend when he saw somebody disguise himself as a gobbler and crawl around. :dontknow:

He had one of those turkey fans on a stick and was crawling behind it down a fire break trying to sneak up on my buddies decoys.

Question is: WHEN (not if) he gets shot in the face, who is at fault and would the insurance company call it suicide and leave the mourning family with the bill??

Can we get those things outlawed BEFORE somebody dies or do we have to wait for the aftermath?

It's difficult to tell which ones are defective until such acts of stupidity are demonstrated. Post election demonstrations and dressing up as a turkey are perfect examples.
The mind is a terrible thing and should be outlawed or removed before it kills someone. :violent1:

Wait a minute...what are you referring to?

What's more stupid, using the turkey tail or not knowing the difference between decoys and the real thing?

A lot of hunting shows hunt with the fan/tail. Not a proponent myself. :slap:

I wonder if he sports a nice 8 or 10 point rack on his head when he deer hunts?
