New to the forums and airboating. I'm wondering what some of you do with the wires off your headlamps. not so much worried about mine because I wont be moving around the boat much but my brother will be moving from seat to bow and will need enough wire to do so. any input would be great.

I changed my out lets to 3 prong 110 style. Harder to pull out. For gators I put a head light on the harpoon guy and as a driver I use a hand held.

The way to point out gators or frogs that the driver sees, but the harpoon person cannot, is to use a green laser. Get one at a gun show for less than $50.00. With only one headlamp, the driver is not going to be blinded.

I've used a couple of the standard hunting lights out there and am looking to move to something more suited to actually illuminating night hunting through a scope. I have a couple of the Kill Lights and they're ok, but they have a strong beam focus that is distracting.

Doing some review over the last weeks, I've been leaning towards a Cisno 1000LM LED.

I'd like to hear what other night hunters are using and your opinions of some on the market now...any information would be appreciated.

Success from a recent hunt.
