What are you guys running for an air cleaner? My motor is set up with a carb box with no filtration.

I run just a factory spark arrestor.

Lots of guys run automotive air cleaners. Either works.

Okay, a spark arrestor, like the ones Classic sells? They are pretty vague with their product description on their parts. What is the actual filtration capabilities of those arrestors?
The carb is a Marvel. I was hoping to get a direct fit filter application.
I am mainly wanting air filtration due to the silty environment I operate in. I am, also, new to the aircraft power scene. And without resources for information locally I was hoping to get specific information on products that would work.

I run a spark arrestor. It has no real filtration properties. I have 235 hrs on the motor like that with 0 issues on a “Marvel” carb. I run it in the water, in mud, sand, brush.. whatever. Also have other boats kickin up dust around all the time.

Some guys run automotive cleaners. The ones I have seen have home made plate that bolts on and the throat fits whatever standard size filter they like.

Look up filtration data from the filter manufacturer.

I believe a spark arrestor is required by law inforcement. An airboat still falls under Coast Guard requirements for fire safety. And it must be a approved arrestor.
