Thanks Gary. I like the system.

Doesn't look like the 30* limit on the timing would work for the Alky guy's though.

qwikdiesel, you can change your timing mechanically by the location of the pick up in relation to the trigger wheel(20 degree mechanical + 20 degrees on the box = 40 total), but this does affect start up timing. there are alot of things you can do with this system, you can hook up a data logger and see your top rpm and cht's, you can hook up a retard box for the nitrous guys where when the nitrous is triggered it adjust the timing to what you have it set at and as soon as the nitrous is off the timing goes back to the control box setting.

renegade, yes this works great with a carb. i ran this on my hunt boat(0540 parrallel valve,10-1 pistons,290 cam) with fuel injection and then with a carb(10-4404)and it worked great on both set ups, i've got it on a 4 cylinder upstack with alot of compression that had a carb but now has continental injection and it has worked great with both set ups. we've got them on a lot of carbed motors as well as fuel injected motors, even on a couple supercharged gear motors, and so far everyone has been very happy and say they will never own mags again.
