Winter prep .....

Post by Crabtrap62 »

I'm getting my mtor ready for winter , and below ,say 45 deg. , my carb and intakes tend to freeze. I am running a PE90/520 with a 500 holley,(front mount) . It's kind of cool to see, but it really aint cool when the throttle freezes at half throttle!
It does'nt stay that cold here for very long at a time, but .....
Imana try to upload a pic, so here goes.

I have thought this would help to keep the cables and the intake pipes warm in the winter. NOT speaking from experience just thought it would be a good thing to try.

Link didn't load I will try again.
If you don't have time to do it right the first time ,
Where are you going to get the time to do it a second time?
