"cheapest route" ..... buy a flex plate ate the parts store and drill the gpu bolt pattern , just make sure its bolted down tight and always check it for cracks before starting the engine (some times they last for years some times they don't )

Danny Emmons at sawgrass welding in fellsmerre can make you a good steel flywheel or you got innovative out there by you for a fancy aluminum one

exxon I pointed towards two places close to him for the solid kit type flywheels but he did ask for the the cheapest way and since the kits cost a few dollars more I mentioned the flywheel (also mention to inspect regular) I had one on that old green hull of mine for 4-5 years and it didn't crack until I hit something with the prop

pennreelz if your prop adapter has the centering dowel like the wooden props used its pretty easy if not it just takes some carefully measurements , you mite even watch the classifieds for someone selling a just gpu kit

Just to get it started seems like you'll be drilling a flywheel. I have one on mine but seems like the whole motor was just thown together and not done right.

I think I paid around 500 bucks to air tech been so long don't remember for sure who made it . for a starter , flywheel alternator and brackets for my pe 90. was also told it could be used on a 220
I still have it I blew the motor only 14 hours on it.
