Hello everyone wondering if there is anyone out there with a home made alternator bracket for a 0290 and if so maybe post some pics, I'm also looking for a tach cable for the same motor thanks

most rear engine mounts have an alternator bracket built in to it.adjuster arm hangs down from above

Schmidt Airboats Store makes them and has them in stock, call them @ 954-782-2845 and they will send you a picture of it

I just looked at my stand it does have the spot were an alternator slides over it looks to be about 2-3 inches long looks like you just put a bolt through it im just gonna need to Fab up a tentior for it what alternator has that slot in it
