Post by CRL81 » Wed Mar 27, 2013 11:04 am

I have a 220 gpu and what I heard people refer to as a floating starter assembly not sure but my starter went bad and I went to Napa to get one they matched mine with one they had so i was happy until I put it on and it didn't work my starter had 11 tooth bendix and the new one was 10 went back to Napa they have already sent my core off and they don't know what I need now cause they don't have a 11 tooth I'm in a big dilemma anyone know what starter I could use I have 168 tooth auto flywheel

I did the same thing, I went to a local starter shop and ordered correct bendix for 3.50 I think, it was under 5$

The part number that is on the starter I had before I went to Air Tec is 1326G and it is USA Industries brand 11 tooth. Still have it if your interested.
