Prop bolts

What size and length bolts go with a sensenich saber and a lycoming 160?

I didn't have a wood prop on it. It is a boat I am putting together.

Should be 4 1/2 " long 3/8 bolt

160 is 7/16 bolts thatd be 5/8 head

I ran a 3/8" into the hub it felt a little sloppy, that is why I was wondering.

O290s are 3/8 i believe i know every 320 ive ever fooled with that hadnt got 360 flange welded on was 7/16

If u have a hub for 1/2" bolts then it will feel like that.

I have seen most older 150's used 3/8" bolts and some newer 150's and all the 160's had 7/16" bolts, lug outer diameter 5/8" with both sizes.

We make plates for just about every application, but for the most part unless it is specified differently, the standard plates are cut for 1/2" bolts with 3/4" drive bushings. Also we make sleeve type bushings for the mount bolt spacers for engines with 5/8" drive bushings.
